About
Soprano Victoria Alexeeva is one of the most promising young singers in the Israeli operatic world.
She performs in such important classical music events as Jerusalem Festival and Israel Festival.
In 2017 mrs. Alexeeva was invited to give a recital in a few cities in Russia with the Yekaterinburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Between 2006 and 2015 Victoria won the “Swiss Friends of Tel Aviv Universty” Grant, the “Kirtyat Tiv’on Young Aspiring Artists” Grant, the Excellence Scholarships of the Buchmann Mehta School of Music, and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
In 2008, on her first year of bachelor studies mrs. Alexeeva has already made her debut as La libellule in L'enfant et les sortilèges at Clairmont Hall in Tel Aviv,
one year later she performed as the
Student in Der Jasager at the Dimona Theater. In 2013 mrs. Alexeeva made her Jerusalem Festival debut singing the title role of Poppea from L’incoronazione di Poppea under the baton of David Shemer, in the house of the Jerusalem Opera, Gerard Bachar Theater.
Her following performances took place in the Israel Festival where she sang, among the rest, the premiere of Nino Rota’s compositions in Israel conducted by Judi Axelrod.
Since 2010 mrs. Alexeeva was selected by the Ministry of Education and the Culture Fund to
sing operas in a special children edition, that included: Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, both La Contessa and Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, and L’enfant in L'enfant et les sortilèges.
In 2015 she collaborated with Omer Arieli, the musical director of the Jerusalem Opera, who invited her to sing with his symphonic orchestra in the YMCA Concert Hall in Jerusalem. Later on this year mrs. Alexeeva was chosen to open the “Golden Ice” - the Olympic champions skating show in front of 5000 people.
In 2016 she was invited to sing the title role of Alex in the modern opera Alex in Transition by Anthony Green.
Victoria started her music studies in 2003 in the Kiryat Tivon Conservatory, and graduated in 2006. During those years, she got to perform consistently with the
Kiryat Tivon Symphonic Orchestra. In 2008 she started her bachelor studies in the Buchmann Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv University and graduted in 2013 in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
During her studies in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem she sang highlight staged scenes in operas such as: Eugene Onegin (Tatiana), Rusalka (Rusalka), Turandot (Liu), Iolanta (Iolanata) and more.
Since 2015 Victoria sings under the guidance of maestro Vladimir Braun – People’s Artist of USSR.
